A lighter, quieter portfolio. Fewer projects, better writing, and a page that loads fast on a phone.
The current view will stay in place while its next region is prepared.

Now, Later, Unclassified. Switch lists from the rail. Tick a task’s box to finish it; it goes to the archive with its page.
The model
Tasks move only when you move them. Finishing one archives it with its page and history intact.
Headings, checklists and tables in plain Markdown. Every save is a Git commit you can compare and restore.
A word and a colour for a slice of your list. Accounts without labels never see the feature.
Optional deadlines, a calendar, quiet hours and snooze. A date never moves a task for you.
Sensitive notes and keys sit behind a separate passphrase that signing in does not unlock.
Share a read-only snapshot of a page with a link that expires, a password, or explicit public publication.
MIT licensed. The self-hosting template boots on local SQLite with no third-party accounts.
Appearance
Each style changes type, spacing and shape, not just colour, and comes in light and dark. Pick one; this page follows.
The vault
The desktop app puts Symplist in the menu bar. Click it, enter the vault passphrase — which is not your sign-in — and the panel lists what is in there. It locks again when the panel closes.
A demonstration — type anything. There is no vault behind this page and nothing is sent anywhere.
Assistants
Symplist publishes 20 scoped tools over MCP. Claude Desktop, Claude Code or any MCP client can read and edit your tasks next to your real shell and repository. Your model key stays with your client.
Each link asks that assistant to read our llms.txt and explain Symplist to you. Nothing is sent to us.
In plain words
